Summary
YKVN Managing Partner Truong Nhat Quang, Partner Nguyen Huong Giang and Senior Associate Le Huynh Nhat Minh authored the Vietnam chapter of ESG in APAC 2026, the fourth edition of Slaughter and May’s regional publication. The chapter provides a jurisdictional overview of ESG reporting, transition and greenwashing in Vietnam.
This year’s edition covers several developments: the launch of Vietnam’s pilot emissions trading scheme and carbon trading exchange, which recorded its first quota trades in June 2026; the country’s first green taxonomy; and the ongoing review of its sustainability disclosure regime.
The publication is a collaboration between Slaughter and May and leading independent law firms across Asia-Pacific.
