Entering The Global Stage & YKVN’s Pivotal Role
During the 2000s, Vietnam’s rapid global integration is marked by key milestones, including its WTO accession in 2007. This period sees significant foreign investment, industrial growth, and infrastructure development as Vietnam emerged as a competitive economy. Laws on investment, enterprise, and securities transform the business environment, promoting transparency, competition, and capital market growth.
In this transformative period, YKVN becomes a prominent player, advising on landmark cross-border transactions and large-scale projects.
As the only firm representing all major state-owned banks and global financial institutions, YKVN introduces international-standard documentation to Vietnam’s syndicated loan market. We play a pivotal role in privatization deals, including Vietcombank (2007), Vietinbank (2008), and other major listings, solidifying our leadership in Vietnam’s economic transformation.
